En représentant un panorama de sa création depuis 2006, cette nouvelle monographie met en regard et en résonance quarante-et-unes œuvres et quarante-et-uns textes commandés à des historien.ne.s, curateur.rice.s, conservateur.rice.s, critiques d’art ou encore artistes contemporain.e.s, comme autant de voies et possibilités d’interprétations.
Entièrement conçue en noir et blanc – l’artiste distinguant comme à son habitude la monstration réelle de ce qui est de l’ordre d’une documentation autour des œuvres –, et affichant un graphisme épuré calé sur une grille orthonormée affirmée, la publication suit l’ordre alphabétique des titres pour ne favoriser aucune lecture chronologique du travail.
By presenting a panorama of his artistic production since 2006, this new monograph brings into dialogue and resonance forty-one artworks and forty-one commissioned texts by historians, curators, museum professionals, art critics, and contemporary artists, offering as many pathways and possibilities for interpretation.
Entirely conceived in black and white—reflecting the artist’s habitual distinction between the direct presentation of the works and what belongs to the realm of their documentation—and featuring a pared-down graphic design structured around a clearly asserted orthonormal grid, the publication follows the alphabetical order of the titles so as not to privilege any chronological reading of the work.

Cet ouvrage documente six années de réflexions et de productions, soient les 47 expositions – consacrées à des jeunes artistes émergent·e·s tout comme à des acteur·rice·s majeur·e·s de la scène artistique française et internationale – réalisées à la Galerie Art & Essai de l’université Rennes 2 entre 2014 et 2020. This publication documents six years of reflection and production, encompassing the 47 exhibitions—devoted both to young emerging artists and to major figures of the French and international art scenes—presented at the Galerie Art & Essai - Université Rennes 2 (France) between 2014 and 2020. Following a chronological order, the book presents, for each project, its original introductory text accompanied by a selection of images of artworks and/or exhibition views.
